We collect as little as we can, use it only to run our business, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Catalog signups: your email address, when you ask to hear when the catalog opens.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message.
- Basic security data: the country your connection comes from, and a one-way coded version of your IP address used only to stop spam. We don't store your actual IP address with your signup or message.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps short-term technical logs to keep the site secure and running.
- Visitor statistics: if enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
What stays on your device
When you confirm the research-use notice, your browser remembers it so you don't see the notice on every visit. That note stays in your browser and isn't sent to us. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To email you when the catalog opens, if you asked us to.
- To reply to your messages.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal and record-keeping requirements.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
Cloudflare hosts our site and stores signups and messages for us. When the catalog opens, a payment processor and shipping carriers will receive the details they need to complete your order, and we'll update this policy to name them.
How long we keep it
We keep signups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep messages as long as we need to handle your request and keep normal business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send. Send us a message and we'll take care of it.
Age
Our site and products are only for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
